About Jim James: Jim James is a singer, songwriter, guitarist and founding member of the psychedelic rock band My Morning Jacket. He has also produced music as a solo act under the name Yim Yames and is a member of the American supergroup, Monsters of Folk.

About Dave Eggers: Dave Eggers is the author of The Circle; A Hologram for the King, which was a finalist for the 2012 National Book Award; and Your Fathers, Where are They? And the Prophets, Do They Live Forever?, short-listed for the International Dublin Literary Award. He is the founder of McSweeney’s, the publishing house, and cofounder of: Voice of Witness, a series of books using oral history to illuminate human rights crises around the world. He is the cofounder of educational nonprofits 826 National and ScholarMatch, and was the 2015 Amnesty International chair.
