Sandra Phipps MacDiarmid has been a long time favorite of B. Deemer Gallery patrons. This new body of work is different from paintings and drawings we have seen from her over the years. The new work is made up of abstract, mixed media, pieces. She says of her work, “My journey continues. I work from the interior, always seeking the outer light, drawing, painting and shaping, regardless of subject matter, media or style. I look to create works on paper or canvas that begins in the longing that compels me to continue until it becomes complete and inevitable”
