A special story hour and book signing with Judith C Owens-Lalude

Reading Hour for ages 6, 7, and 8

Judith C. Owens-Lalude will read from her recently published children’s book, "The Wedding Drum and the Tall-Tall Tree". It is a story adapted from Nigerian tales; nine-year old Ade is disgruntled about his sister, who is getting married and leaving him to start her own family in a faraway village.After the reading, children in attendance will make music with bells, drums, shakers, and dance to the Nigerian beat.
