In this Fast Class, Cameron Ludwick and Blair Thomas Hess, founders of My Old Kentucky Road Trip and authors of "The State of Bourbon: Exploring the Spirit of Kentucky," will talk about Kentucky and the bourbon industry's intertwined history. They will share some of their favorite bourbon-themed road trips, focusing specifically on the Louisville area, as well as some tips for Old Kentucky road trips such as traveling to several places in one day, and distillery traveling with kids.
Cameron and Blair have lived in Kentucky their whole lives – born here, grew up here, graduated college here – but when they stopped to consider it, they realized they had never actually seen here. Kentucky is a beautiful state full of scenic treasures. Whether they are National Parks, world-famous gorges, popular lakes, or tiny off-the-beaten-path ‘gener’l’ stores, the state is overflowing with vacation opportunities. From the parkways to the back roads, these two Kentucky natives explore the Bluegrass State. Learn more about their project at myoldkentuckyroadtrip.com
