The Speed Art Museum Ball is the most significant fundraiser for the Speed and is critical for the current and future success of the Museum. During this time of renovation and expansion, the Museum's satellite space, Local Speed, continues to provide our community with quality exhibitions and unparalleled arts education programs for all ages. As we approach the highly anticipated reopening of the Museum in the spring of 2016, we look back on the long and rich history of the Speed, and ahead to its exciting new future – one of continued stewardship of creativity, inspiration, and great art. The generosity of attendees makes this mission possible.

This year's Speed Museum Ball is pleased to feature two musical acts for guest's enjoyment. Following dinner, Burning Las Vegas will be performing in the Medallion Ballroom. This talented, eight-piece band will have something for everyone, playing everything from classics in rock, rhythm and blues to funk and soul favorites.

Beginning at 10 o'clock, DJ Sleepy T will be performing in the Rathskeller, playing today's popular dance tracks to keep the party going well into the night.

The Rathskeller is a beautiful and historic room in the lower level of the Seelbach. Modeled in the Bavarian tradition and lined with rare Rookwood pottery, it is the only surviving ensemble of its kind. Equipped with a built-in bar and additional décor, the Rathskeller will be the perfect setting for this can't-miss, late-night party.
