Varanese Restaurant, located at 2106 Frankfort Avenue, will host the “Southern Tier Beer Dinner” on Thursday, February 4, with a reception at 6:30pm and dinner at 7:00pm. The guest speaker will be Ryan Rahe of Southern Tier Brewery, the largest craft brewer in Western New York. Since it started brewing in 2002, it has hand crafted more than 80 varieties of ale and it produces more than 100,000 barrels of beer each year.
