The Luther Luckett Correctional Complex in Lagrange, KY, is home to the oldest prison-based Shakespeare program in the United States: Shakespeare Behind Bars (SBB). The organization is founded on the belief that all human beings are born inherently good, and that immersion in a circle of trust exploring the works of Shakespeare can call forth that goodness, transforming inmate offenders – no matter how heinous their crimes – from who they were when they committed their crimes, to who they are . . . and who they wish to become.
The evening is free of charge, though space is limited! Please RSVP!
