Join us for this 3 part series with the incredibly talented Amanda Dougherty founder/designer at The New Blak as she takes us through the basics of sewing ,from getting your machine out of the box to making your very own fashion accessories, this class is for beginners and will be limited to 10 people so there will be plenty of time for 1 on 1 and questions, sewing machines are available on site or you can bring your own.

Class will meet the following days:
-Mondays June 6th,13th and 20th 2016 7-8:30pm.

Come learn to sew solo or bring a friend! You will learn basics like:
How to thread your sewing machine
Sewing terminology (what the heck is a bobbin??)
How to use a pattern
Learn the correct way to cut fabric
How to make your own turban headband and other fashion accessories
