We’re always excited for October - there are so many great stories to share! From fun fiction like our hilarious live adaptation of Washington Irving’s Legend of Sleepy Hollow, to the real life scare of the Salem Witch Trials, Halloween never fails to capture our imagination.

Fun activities for the day include

The Table of Fears: How well do you know your phobias?
Halloween print-making. Get inspired by our display of Student Art from DeSales and Manual High Schools and then create some a Print-block-style art of your own
Candy Challenge – can you sort the Halloween treats in order by the date they first appeared. You might be surprised – and learn something too.
Nosferatu – the classic, and original vampire silent-movie from 1922 will be shown on a continual loop. Sit down and get spooked!
The Legend of Sleepy Hollow - 1:00pm – our teaching artists have created an fun, hilarious, family-friendly, and accurate version to The Legend of Sleepy Hollow.
