Dr. Deshpande is Louisville's own expert in positively transforming societies through meditation. Deshpande introduced Six Sigma in the MBA program of the Gatton College of Business Economics at University of Kentucky and recently set up bioenergetic measurements through a course offered in Athens, Greece. He spent 33 years on the faculty of chemical engineering at the University of Louisville. His research supporting why the Ganges River in the Himalayan Mountain region has been considered sacred for thousands of years also uses Six Sigma as the measure for excellence.
