The Rye Back Porch Sessions will be focusing on arts in the community heading into their 6th year for the series, presented by Heaven Hill brands and sponsored by Evan Williams, Lunazul, and Rhinegeist.
Come together to celebrate and inform... Gathering the Louisville Orchestra, Louisville Ballet, Louisville Visual Art, KMAC, Kentucky Opera and Girls Rock Louisville. Over the summer Rye Back Porch Sessions will shine a light on the arts in Louisville.
"Our goal will be to have a substantial impact on each organization's future by creating a deeper bond with a younger audience through music, drink, and community. Our social impact runs through the fabric of Louisville... It's time to embrace the arts while enjoying some damn good music and libations!"
Twenty First Century Fox originally performed as a B'52s tribute, under the handle Mock Lobster, from 2008-2011. In 2012 the band began collaborating on original material with a wider range of influences, from Black Sabbath to Helium. Orchestrating catchy tunes and experimentation via three-guitar attack, TFCF offered the world a digital EP, "Guitarsguitarsguitars", in October 2012, preceding a split 7" collaboration with fellow Louisvillian weirdos, Madame Machine, released by Noise Pollution in February 2013, Pet Rounds was released in the winter of 2014.
Catch them at the Rye Back Porch Sessions benefiting the Louisville Ballet! Food and drink at 5 p.m. Music at 7 p.m.
