Please join Seven Counties Services on Thursday, March 3, 2016, for the inaugural Roast & Toast with the guest of honor, Terry Meiners. Mental illness is no laughing matter. So we hope you will support our quest to bring mental health into the limelight with a bit of laughter mixed with real stories from real people to create awareness. One in four adults and one in five children are affected by mental illness, making it more prevalent than cancer, diabetes, or heart disease combined. Treatments are available, but nearly two-thirds of people with a known mental disorder never seek help from a health professional. Stigma, discrimination, and neglect prevent care and treatment from reaching people with mental disorders. It’s time for that to change!
