This is the August meetup of the Louisville Atheists and Freethinkers. Louisville computer programmer Alan Canon will discuss his work with Richard Dawkins in reviving Dawkins' Blind Watchmaker programs. Dawkins wrote the programs in the 1980s in languages and on computers that are now obsolete. Canon is helping bring the programs back to run on modern computers using modern programming tools. We will open with a short video of Dawkins demonstrating the programs in his 1991 BBC television series Growing Up In The Universe.
