Brownie’s The Shed (237 Wittington Parkway) is going to be hosting “Prayers for Pete." There is no cover charge, but all money raised will go to support former University of Louisville football player Pete Nochta as he fights for his life.
Nochta was recently diagnosed with Diffuse Large B-Cell Lymphoma, a blood cancer that causes rapid and uncontrollable white cell growth.
There will be food and beer on the patio, as well as outdoor music from King Montague and Calen and Clay as they work their way through high energy sets, playing some of your favorite songs until well into the morning. What more can you ask of a Friday night out?
The music and fundraiser will kick off Friday June 26 at 7 p.m. at Brownie’s (the 237 Wittington Parkway location) and will go on all night, so come down, support a good cause and help a local hero who is fighting the fight of his life.
