Just a week after their grand opening, First Light is excited to present the opening reception for their first exhibit, Rupert Vandervell's "Man on Earth" Series, in which he seeks to "imagine what it might be like to be the last man on earth."

"The Man on Earth series represents a sort of fantasy world for me," says Vandervell. "A dream-like state where one can feel free in the space around them and listen to the enveloping silence. In our over-populated world and increasingly crowded urban spaces moments of solitude are becoming harder to imagine."
