Free and Open to the Public

Join us for the Open Studio Weekend Kick-off & Opening Reception, Friday, November 1 from 6-8pm at the Cressman Center for Visual Arts. The Hite Institute of Art at the University of Louisville has on display a juried exhibit of artists participating in Louisville Visual Art’s Open Studio Weekend event. A Call for Artists is included in the registration process and a three-member jury of art professionals from outside of the Metro Louisville area reviews submitted work. The result is a powerful exhibit that surveys artists living and working in the Louisville area.

The opening reception on November 1 is a perfect way to start your Open Studio Weekend experience, with the opportunity to purchase the Directory after sampling the work of several participating artists.
