Old Louisville’s Second Street Neighborhood Association presents its 24th Annual Hidden Treasures Garden Tour on Saturday, June 10 and Sunday, June 11, from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm each day. This year, garden tourists will retrace the footsteps of the hundreds-of-thousands of visitors who attended the great Southern Exposition between 1883 and 1887. Private gardens will be open on 4th and 6th streets as well as Belgravia Court, St. James Court and Park Ave. Also open to garden enthusiasts will be Floral Terrace, a lush walking court.
The registration will-call table and vendor tables will be on the lawn of the Conrad-Caldwell House Museum at 1402 St. James Court. Visitors may rest, refresh, and shop a silent auction in air-conditioned Haskins Hall.
Tickets are $20 on tour day; $15 if purchased before 5 pm on June 9. Persons 65 or over are $15. Advance tickets for groups of ten or more are $12 each and may purchased in advance. Send an e-mail inquiry for advance group tickets to hiddentreasures.gardentour@gmail.com
