COMMUNITY COLLABORATION
In partnership with the Little Loomhouse, KMAC presents an interactive weaving project for the community. With the guidance of educators, members from across the community will receive hand-dyed blank story cloths upon which they share their stories. During the exhibition, the completed story cloths will be joined and interwoven on a large standing loom built by YouthBuild Louisville and installed in the gallery.
Exploring universal storytelling through weaving, participants will discover how our stories are bound
together, creating healing for all. ALL MUSEUM VISITORS ARE INVITED TO PARTICIPATE.
