The Navigating Genesis series offers a unique opportunity to equip individuals with powerful tools to construct healthy conversations with people with different views of God. This 8 week study will be tackling one of the most controversial passages in Scripture: Genesis 1–2.
This study has been strategically designed to help move Christians from feeling embarrassed and uncertain about their faith to feeling more solid and ready to share their faith with unbelievers. The curriculum was written by a group of apologetic scientists at Reasons to Believe. This apologetic organization equips believers and non believers to be aware of the evidence of God in our past and present scientific studies.
Session topics:
1. Is putting science and the Bible together a bad idea?
2. Does the big bang contradict the Bible?
3. Did life evolve from a primordial soup?
4. Does the Bible contradict science?
5. Does the fossil record prove evolution?
6. Did humans evolve from apes?
7. Why does God rest?
8. Does Genesis 2 conflict with Genesis 1?
Admission is free, but it is $10 for personal study guide.
Meeting will meet for 8 weeks on Tuesday, except September 1st and November 3rd.
Event will begin at 7:00pm and end at 8:30pm
