Erin McGee Ferrell is inspired by architecture merging with landscape. “The Kentucky Home Series speaks loudly to the deep roots I have in the Crescent Hill neighborhood in Louisville, Kentucky. Even though I haven’t lived there in 22 years it is home. The smells, night sounds, familiar nooks, and loving neighbors are all there. Crescent Hill Baptist Church is full of my ‘extended family…the village that raised me.’ My mom still lives on Zorn and my dad still owns the house I grew up in on Crescent Court.” - Erin McGee Ferrell
Erin McGee Ferrell studied oil painting at Mount Holyoke College, Pennsylvania Academy of Art, University of the Arts Philadelphia, and The University of Louisville, KY. She has studied and created art in Italy and Nigeria.
