Moose on the Loose was inspired by rhyming games with Carlos's wife and 4-year-old son, nightly bedtime stories, and Carlos's experience adopting his first dog. 50% of proceeds from Moose on the Loose will benefit the Kentucky Humane Society, Kentucky's largest pet adoption agency and largest no-kill animal shelter. Carlos Wehby was born and raised here in Louisville, Kentucky. After years of songwriting, Carlos attended Goddard College and graduated with an MFA in Creative Writing (prose) in 2013. Carlos's short stories, poems, and monologues have appeared in Modern Grimmoire, The Pitkin Review, The Farmer General, and Calico Tiger. Carlos's poem, “Dorothy's Ever After,” received The Farmer General's highest honor in January, 2014.
