Metro Station is an American Pop Rock / Electronica band formed in Los Angeles, California by guitarist and lead vocalist Mason Musso. In early 2006 Metro Station released their first song "Seventeen Forever" on their MySpace Music website. The group's popularity on MySpace Music grew quickly, propelling Metro Station to the top of the MySpace Music Unsigned Band's charts. Later that year, the band signed a recording contract with Columbia Records and RED Ink Records.

The fashion-art rock band Palaye consisting of Remington Leith, Sebastian Danzig, Emerson Barrett has been named champions of MTV's "Musical March Madness" 2014. They are the first unsigned act ever to compete in and win this fan-voted tournament. The global Samsung Galaxy Note commercial that features Palaye Royale's single "Get Higher" continues to make an impression and make history.
