In honor of the awe-inspiring upcoming Mardi Gras celebration and parade hosted by New Orleans, from January 29th all the way to “Fat Tuesday”, February 17th, Harvest restaurant will host an “App and Tap Takeover” with appetizers and craft beer inspired by the tastes of Louisiana. With Louisiana-raised Chef Coby Ming Lee at the helm, the kitchen will serve items such as buttermilk fried chicken livers with dirty rice and creole mustard glaze and shaved catfish with hush puppies, remoulade, and crystal hot sauce. Beers for pairing will include Abita’s Wrought Iron IPA and Pecan Harvest on tap, and Dixie’s Blackened Voodoo, among others.
In celebration of the Cajun celebration, Harvest will also be hosting happy hours (5:00PM -7:00PM) in what is being dubbed the “Langiappe Lounge” (Cajun for “a little something extra”), with $5 Abita Drafts and $5 Dixie Lager and Blackened Voodoo bottled beer. The February 11th Happy Hour will feature “The Scofflaw,” a classic cocktail made with Jim Beam Devil’s Cut bourbon.
