What: LINC Gifts from Grads - Your ticket to a free brew, great food and awesome company is a t-shirt, sweatshirt, or hoodie from your college alma mater or favorite team (sizes small - extra-large). These items will be handed out to students in two of Metro United Way's partner out-of-school time programs with a personal note of encouragement from you, which will be written during the event!

When: Thursday, December 10, 5:30 - 7:30 p.m.

Where: Great Flood Brewing Company, 2120 Bardstown Rd.

Why: Because your story and support can make all the difference to a child that needs to know he or she CAN DO IT!

At this event, it’s all about college... the memories, the hard lessons learned, the frustration when we thought we might not make it, the elation when we finally did, etc. The entire experience is a source of passion and pride for many of us. But for some middle and high school students in our community, high school graduation and college are an unfamiliar world away. They need to know the stories of people who made the journey and believe that they can, too.
