Join us for the 2016 Sustainability Summit on Saturday, October 29th, from 8:00am – 4:30pm at Bellarmine University. Leaders, educators, innovators and talented community members will convene to share best-practices, propose innovative ideas, and organize for a greener community. The event will highlight inspiring national champions who drive measurable success, and boldly connect participants to shovel-ready local projects that together contribute to a more sustainable Louisville.
The event’s theme – It takes a ‘Ville – reflects on the need for everyone to contribute to community progress towards a sustainable city.
Attendees will hear from a panel of sustainability leaders from across the country, as well as from local innovators and drivers of change.
Dr. Shahzeen Attari, a lead researcher in behavior change and natural resource use, will join us from the top-ranked Indiana University School of Public and Environmental Affairs.
The Summit will also host:
Matt Gray, City of Cleveland Director of Sustainability;
Jennifer Lansing, City of Minneapolis Senior Environmental Research Analyst;
Rick Hicks, City of Columbus’ Director of the Public Health’s Office of Environmental Protection and Sustainability; and
Ryan Evans, Salt Lake City Chamber of Commerce VP of Business and Community Relations.
