Hwang’s Martial Arts, along with Kosair Children’s Hospital, are once again pleased to announce our annual spring fundraising event, the Louisville Health Kick Festival. On Saturday, March 7th, 2015, from 12 noon until 4 pm, the Kentucky International Convention Center will play host to an afternoon of SUPER FUN activities to help families get up and move! We will have an amazing silent auction to bid on items such as signed memorabilia, UL/UK items, Restaurant packages, and much more! There will also be special appearances made by Batman and Superman, with an invitation out to the Frozen Princesses!

Hwang’s Martial Arts wants every family to have fun, AND get healthy together. From 12pm to 2pm, the Louisville Health Kick Festival provides local families the opportunity to do just that. There will be free health screenings, health-based information, interactive booths provided by local businesses, (including the Kentucky Science Center), and an introduction to self-defense clinic, a rock climbing wall, petting zoo, and bounce houses, along with many, many other exciting things to experience! Families will learn fun and exciting activities that promote a healthy and active lifestyle together.

Additionally, from 2 until 4 pm, festival-goers will enjoy a once-in-a-lifetime demonstration from none other than the world’s first 19th degree black belt and 1984 Olympic Medalist, Grandmaster Jung Oh Hwang. Along with the spine-tingling martial arts demonstration by Grandmaster Hwang, hundreds of Hwang’s students will be performing exciting demonstrations of their own, featuring heart-stopping weapons routines, high-flying board breaking, and an exhilarating display of precision and technique.
