Celebrate New Year's Eve at Louisville’s newest late-night lounge, Lola, with a live D.J. and champagne toast at midnight Saturday, Dec. 31. The “living room” to Butchertown Grocery’s “dining room,” Lola offers the perfect setting to ring in 2017. With a live D.J. and cash bar, guests can dance and drink the night away. A large projector screen will be set up for guests to watch the clock strike midnight with a complimentary champagne toast. The current menu, featuring crave-worthy snacks, will be available for purchase from midnight to 2 a.m. 

Before the ball drops and the party begins, downstairs restaurant, Butchertown Grocery will offer a special four-course prix fixe dinner with optional wine pairings beginning at 9 p.m., with seating until 10 p.m. Wine pairings are available for an additional $40. Butchertown Grocery will also offer the regular menu from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. 

 The New Year’s Eve Menu includes: 

Hors d'oeuvres such as orecchiette with spicy pork with charred broccoli, ricotta, tomato and lemon or gnocchi with mushroom, parmesan and fine herbs. 

The second course will be butternut squash soup with ricotta cheese, toasted pepitas and maple or pecan salad with mixed greens, candied pecans or pear-praline vinaigrette

The third course offers Chicken & Waffles with chiles, fried rosemary & leeks, mint and syrup. The other options served will be striped bass with brussel sprouts, crispy pancetta, saba and black truffle butter, or steak frites with a choice of black truffle béarnaise or chimichurri. 

Desserts served will be banana bread pudding with candied pecans, maple syrup and Bourbon Barrel ice cream or beignets.
