Hailing from Asheville, NC, Brie Capone is a singer/songwriter who channels the sweet vocal textures of Joni Mitchell in her higher register, with some Janis Joplin grit when she gets down to business. Mix in the fun pop sensibilities from the likes of Ingrid Michaelson and Feist, and you've got a pretty good idea of her sound. That's just my take, check out the sample below and see what you think!

I'm also VERY pleased to welcome the local pop/folk outfit Bridge 19 back into The Living Room! They were recently recognized by Thrillist as one of the top bands you should be listening to in Louisville, so if you haven't been listening to them...you should!
