Mike Hood is a Louisville born piano player and singer who spent 15 years performing in the clubs in New Orleans most notably, The Spotted Cat, Apple Barrel, Cafe Negril and d.b.a. Mike also spent 8 years playing solo piano at Lafitte's Blacksmith Bar (the oldest continuously operating bar in the U.S. Est 1772) on historic Bourbon St. while also performing with Louisiana hall of fame member Coco Robicheaux at the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival.
