Levee at the River House and Louisville Film Society are partnering to host “Lights, Camera, Levee!” Outdoor Movie Nights
“Lights, Camera, Levee!” will feature a series of outdoor film screenings that will be free and open to the public. The screenings will take place on the expansive lawn and patio at Levee overlooking the river, and seating is limited so guests are welcome to bring their own lawn chairs or blankets.
The films will start at dark, around 8:30pm each night. Levee will also offer food and drink specials during the screenings.
The series kicks off on Sunday, September 17th with a screening of the 2017 science fiction film, War for the Planet of the Apes (rated PG-13), which is still showing in theaters, so this will be the first local free screening of the film.
Upcoming screenings include:
The 1980 slasher film Friday the 13th (rated R) on Friday, October 13th
The classic 1978 horror movie Halloween (rated R) on Sunday, October 29th.
