Join the Louisville Free Public Library for the next Library Fast Class, Plain Jane, Fearless Jane: The Enduring Legacy of Charlotte Brontë’s Jane Eyre, on Tuesday, April 14, 6:00 p.m., at the Main Library (301 York St.). Taught by Dr. Patty Payette, this free class will examine Charlotte Brontë’s 1847 classic Jane Eyre through the lens of the Victorian age in which it was written, discuss aspects of Charlotte’s uncommon life, and explore why this particular story and its characters live on in readers’ hearts and minds over 150 years after its debut.
