Held annually in conjunction with Thunder Over Louisville – the largest annual fireworks display in North America – guests of the Science Center’s event will enjoy a smoke-free, covered, riverside view of Thunder Over Louisville's air show and fireworks display, access to the Science Center’s exhibit galleries, indoor restrooms, activities & demonstrations for adults and children and much more!

Guests may bring strollers, small wagons, chairs, blankets and umbrellas (no larger than a golf umbrella) to set up in the outdoor ThunderBlast seating area. No tents, pets, coolers, alcohol, food or drinks are permitted.

100% of net ThunderBlast proceeds benefit the Science Center’s vision of creating a more scientifically literate society who is empowered to ask questions, think creatively, solve problems and work toward a better quality of life for all. All of the Science Center’s programs create workforce connections to fill imminent and urgent needs in our state and region.
