On Saturday, November 11, the Kentucky Rural-Urban Exchange comes back to Louisville for the 2017 RUX Fall Fair. The event kicks off at 5:00pm at Louisville’s Fresh Start Grower’s Supply – home to the Flea Off Market, Phoenix Hill Farmer’s Market, and more – with all ages games, prizes, and special access to Climb Nulu until 8pm, music and other fun til’ 10pm. Kentucky-centric stories, music, and dancing will be provided by YAPA (traditional music from the Americas), the Kentucky Roundups with a square dance called by Alexander Calls! and Johanna Sims, Cajun two-step tunes from Double Dog Dare, and Honky Tonkin with Plum Hokum. Also featured is an all-ages shadow play called Waupee & The Star Maiden, West Sixth beer, food by Eiderdown, and an incredible silent auction with items from across the Commonwealth.
We are grateful for the support of Fresh Start Grower’s Supply, Weeds of Eden, Nachbar, West Sixth Brewing, Climb Nulu, and Eiderdown.
This event celebrates all of Kentucky and all Kentuckians, so there will be something for all tastes. All proceeds go to the Kentucky Rural-Urban Exchange.
