Friends of the University of Louisville School of Music and The Pendennis Historical Foundation invite you to the Jumpin' Jive Homecoming Dance from 6-10 p.m., Oct. 23, for a decadent night of fine dining and big band fun. Drinks and appetizers will be served during the first hour, followed by dinner, then music and dancing close the evening. The University of Louisville 20-piece Jazz Band will play big band music while swing dancers from across the region -- many donning vintage and period outfits -- show off their dancing skills and compete for a $100 per-couple prize. During the cocktail and dinner hours there will be a silent auction with many U of L items, notably UofL men's basketball tickets. Money raised at the event will go toward the UofL Friends of the School of Music Scholarship Fund.
