5-Course Italian Wine Dinner Featuring Wines made with French Grape Varietals presented by Wine Expert David Dubou from Indigenous Selections & Advanced Level Sommelier Julie DeFriend from Vintner Select on Wednesday October 24th at 6:30pm!
Chef Patrick Gosden offers a Menu of Regional Italian Dishes to complement these wines, starting with a Fried Mushroom Risotto Cake paired with Contratto Millesimato from Piedmont for the Reception. The first course, a Stuffed Soft Shell Crab with Sorrel Beurre Blanc will be paired with Torre Pieve Chardonnay from Verona, then a Fresh Tagliatelle Pasta with Duck, Peas and Heirloom Cherry Tomato Sauce will accompany the Decima Aurea Merlot, also from Verona. For the Entrée, a Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot Blend from Tuscany, Ciacci Piccolomoni ATEO, will be served with the Pork Filet Mignon Au Gratin with a Cannellini Bean Ragout. The dinner will end with a Soft Pecorino from Tuscany with Panzanella and Grape Relish paired with Ciacci Piccolomoni FAVIUS Syrah. Buon Appetito!
