The International Association of Culinary Professionals (I.A.C.P.) will conclude their three-day conference with the prestigious Cookbook Awards hosted by Carla Hall of “The Chew” honoring the year’s best cookbooks in 16 categories. Guests will mingle with the who’s who of the culinary world including renowned authors, celebrity chefs, and top publishers will be in attendance. The festivities begin at 6:30 p.m. with a welcome cocktail followed by the awards and Hot Brown Smack-Down reception. Here local chefs from the Brown Hotel, Bristol Bar & Grille, MilkWood, Grind Burger Kitchen, Finn’s Southern Kitchen, Wiltshire on Market and Sullivan University will have a hand at reinventing the Brown Hotel’s classic dish. Tickets for the awards and reception with drinks and heavy hors d'oeuvres are $50 and may be purchased online.
