With the recent passing of world-renowned peace activist, boxing legend and Louisville native Muhammad Ali, Interfaith Paths to Peace, Muslim Americans for Compassion and the Louisville Islamic Center will hold an interfaith memorial service on Sunday, June 5, at 7:00 p.m., at the River Road Mosque (4007 River Road, Louisville, Kentucky 40207). The event, which is open to the public, will begin with an Asr prayer (the afternoon daily prayer recited by practicing Muslims) followed by blessings and messages of peace from several of Louisville’s faith and community leaders including Louisville Mayor Greg Fischer.
