Revelry is pleased to present a new solo show by Paul Nelson- “Hope, Fear, Fun and Tools”, a playful juxtaposition of a variety of media, including steel, cast glass, hot worked glass, wood, re-purposed antique and industrial tools, and found objects from nature. Destruction of something old, or that had a purpose or function, allows for the creation of something unexpected with new interpretations.

“The transformative nature of 'art' is making the impossible possible. While much of my work involves sculpting the human figure and self-portraiture, I have the most fun creating the surreal and sometimes humorously macabre context for each piece.
