Draggin’ after the Kentucky Derby? HopCat’s drag brunch on May 5 is the perfect cure! While HopCat is known for their endless beer taps, Cosmick Fries and green initiative, this Highlands favorite is brewing up a brunch to cure your Derby hangover. Join the fun with food, dancing and performances by the Derby City Sisters with proceeds supporting the Louisville Youth Group. The Derby City Sisters are a modern order of 21st century nuns dedicated to community service and promote human rights and respect for diversity. It is their goal to empower the LGBTQA+ community in Louisville by spreading messages of joy and love to all who will listen. For this event they will be supporting the Louisville Youth Group, which provides space for gender and sexuality diverse young adults to grow their identities, learn leadership skills and develop the tools needed to thrive personally and act as agents of change in their communities.
