Honoring the Animals (HTA) is a candlelight vigil and animal blessing that is held on National Pet Memorial Day. The International Association of Pet Cemeteries (IAPC) has designated the second Sunday in September as National Pet Memorial Day and HTA is an annual event held in observance of this day. HTA is presented by Chance's Spot, Pet Loss and Grief Support, a nonprofit organization that helps pet parents and professionals understand and cope with the pain of pet loss and grief. HTA is just one of the many ways Chance's Spot supports those who have lost a pet.
HURRY! If you would like to add you pet's name to this year's official Honoring the Animals Program Book - no matter where you live - you can! In return for your gift of $10 per name, we'll list your pet's name, your name, and your city and state in our beautiful, full-color program book.
