Hands On History is BACK this September!
Preservation Louisville will host a hands on workshop on Saturday, September 12, 2015 for people interested in learning and practicing the skills needed to repair historic wood windows. The workshop runs from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at The Brennan House Historic Home, 631 S. 5th St.

In the workshop, historic window experts will demonstrate the skills needed to repair historic wood windows, and guide participants in practicing those skills. For this exciting workshop opportunity, actual historic windows will be provided in order to practice your new skills! Participants will learn:
How to use the basic tools to restore, repair, and maintain historic wood windows.
How to repair sashes with epoxy, repair the rope and weight system, and replace and glaze panes.
