On Tues., Feb. 10, Heaven Hill Brands, the nation’s largest independent, family-owned and operated distilled spirits company, will celebrate filling its seven millionth barrel of Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey with a ceremony.

Local dignitaries will join Heaven Hill officials and Master Distillers to fill and “bung off” the milestone barrel. Participants will then raise a glass of vintage Heaven Hill Bourbon made within a year of the company’s founding in 1935. This year marks Heaven Hill’s 80th Anniversary.

Heaven Hill is the only Kentucky-based, family-owned company to have filled so many barrels.

In keeping with the celebration, the Evan Williams Bourbon Experience in Louisville will offer its Traditional Tour for a discounted rate of $7 and the Bourbon Heritage Center in Bardstown will offer its Mashbill Tour for $7, as well.
