The KFC Yum! Center, Louisville Metro Police Foundation and Louisville Metro Police and Louisville Metro Fire will join together for the Hall of Fame Classic, a charity basketball game that will mix members of the Louisville Police and Fire departments with notable basketball players in a head-to-head matchup.

Members of the police and fire departments will play as teammates alongside current and former NBA and former University of Louisville basketball players, including Russ Smith, Peyton Siva, Darrell Griffith and more. The teams will be coached by Hall of Fame coach Denny Crum and his former assistant coach Jerry Jones.

A portion of the proceeds from the Hall of Fame Classic will benefit Louisville Metro Fire and the Louisville Metro Police Foundation, which is dedicated to improving the Greater Louisville community and making our city a safer place to live, work and visit by supporting the men and women of the Louisville Metro Police Department.

An initial list of celebrity players, including members of the 1980, 1986 and 2013 University of Louisville championship teams, is below. Additional players will be announced in the coming months.
