The Pints for Parkinson’s Foundation in partnership with Gordon Biersch and 4th Street Live are honored to host the 3rd Annual, Pint’s for Parkinson’s® Charity Fundraiser on Weds, April 19, 2017 starting at 6pm. The event is in conjunction with the tapping of Gordon Biersch’s Maibock Lager brewed by Beer Master, Nick Landers plus other Breweries are uniting to benefit Parkinson’s Center of Kentuckiana – Pints Unite! Featured breweries and distilleries to include Ballotin Chocolate Whiskey, Jim Beam, Sam Adams, Goodwood, White Squirrel, and more.
Gordon Biersch will be offering $3 pints of their Maibock beer that evening starting at 6pm, with all proceeds ofsales to benefit the Parkinson’s Center of Kentuckiana. In addition, GB and other 4th Street Restaurants including The Tavern, Sport and Social, Guy Fieri’s Smokehouse, Birracibo, and Brendon’s Catch 23 will donating 10% of all dinner sales. “The Parkinson Support Center is honored to be the beneficiary of the 3rd Annual, “Pints for Parkinson’s”. Our mission is to promote awareness about Parkinson’s disease and help those inKentuckiana navigate life with Parkinson’s. This event will help expand awareness for Parkinson’s in the Louisville Community and all proceeds from this event will go directly to support our education and exercise programs!” states Bobbi Cain, Resource Development Coordinator
In addition to beer and great food, there will be a silent auction including items such as Two Tickets to the Parkinson’s Center of Kentuckiana Annual Denim & Diamond Gala, Jim Beam Reserve Bourbons andBarrel Heads, Hotel / Dinner Packages, a chance to win a bottomless growler, and much more. Jason Smith, GB GM and Pints Foundation Founder is excited to again host this event - "I'm excited to help raise awareness to a great local organization that focuses on the education and well-being of not only patients, but loved ones as well. Having recently been diagnosed with Young Onset Parkinson's, they are a great resource of information, community and support for a disease that doesn't always have an explanation."
Popular Nationally Loved, Jericho Woods will be performing a free concert on the 4th Street Main Stage during the event with special guest appearances by other local artists.
