Greater Louisville Outstanding Women, or GLOW, will host the first of three free financial seminars for women on Thursday, January 15 from 5:30 – 7:00 at the University of Louisville.
This set of financial seminars correlates with the organization’s “Get Lit(eracy) with GLOW” campaign that launched in September 2014.
“Our members, through their own experiences, believe that women with financial know-how make better business decisions,” said Holly Houston, Director of GLOW. “These same members will take this time to share what they’ve learned in these experiences and correlate it to their knowledge about money and business.”
The first panel will feature a CPA, broker, corporate lawyer, financial planner and veteran woman business owner.
“The goal of this financial series is to enable young professionals to make smart decisions regarding their business and money they put in to it,” continued Houston. “The members of GLOW couldn’t be more excited to teach what they know and, in turn, enable smarter choices and smarter women.”
