From Brasil, Funqquestra is a unique blend of jazz, funk, pop and Brasilian music that is sure to get you moving!

Funqquestra is a Funk-Jazz Orchestra based in Brasilia, Brazil. With a peculiar instrumentation, including two drum sets playing together, the group aims to bring instrumental music closer to the broad public, taking it back to its “street roots.” Influenced by Snarky Puppy, Black Rio and Lettuce, the group has more than 160,000 views on YouTube and Facebook, and their first album, released in November 2015, was acclaimed by specialized media, including a special mention on the prestigious Brazilian blog “O Embrulhador” in the analysis of the best albums of 2015.
