Celebrate the 200th anniversary of the publication of Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein with its first film adaptation! Join us for a tea and talk featuring a screening of the 1910 silent film Frankenstein, produced by Edison Studios. This film was believed to be lost for many years, but has only recently been re-discovered and restored. Film historian Aaron Nusz will speak about the film and answer audience questions, followed by a hearty tea with music from the first decade of the 20th century.
Reserve your tickets by Monday, October 8! Admission is $18/$15 for Locust Grove members. Prepaid reservations are required—call 502-897-9845 for tickets.
