Varanese Restaurant, located at 2106 Frankfort Avenue, will host the Fess Parker Wine Dinner on Tuesday, May 19, with a reception at 6:30pm and dinner at 7:00pm. The evening will feature guest speaker Bob Campbell, sommelier and owner of Campbell Fine Wine Selections, and a six-course dinner paired with various world-class wines from the famous CA winery. Fess Parker was a film and television actor best known for his portrayals of Davy Crockett in the Walt Disney 1955–1956 TV mini-series and as Daniel Boone in a television series from 1964 to 1970.
