Fiber Artist Irene Myers will be showing and talking about her life-like work in needle felting.

The Artist meet-and-greet will be Saturday May14, from 11am-4pm. This event is free and open to the public, with light refreshments served.

Myers will also be hosting a workshop in conjunction with the show on Saturday, May 28, from 11am-4pm . Class Cost: $99; Supply Cost: $20 and Supplies will include felting pad, needles, and wool. Artist’s Statement: Finding the beauty in creation is the inspiration for my work, especially the elderly, children and animals. I have been felting for at least four years now using mostly our sheep’s wool and small amounts of purchased wool. I also enjoy raising herbs, antique roses and sheep. -Irene Meyers
