Don't miss thrilling Thoroughbred racing under the stars at one of the best parties of autumn. In addition to eleven races, Downs After Dark Bourbon: Bets & Bow Ties presented by Stella Artois and Woodford Reserve will celebrate the best of Kentucky, including local music, Kentucky bourbon, Southern style and the world’s greatest racehorses. The evening includes music by Wildwood; Nora Jane & The Party Line; and the Moonlight Peddlers. Twelve artists will create bourbon barrel art throughout the track in partnership with Louisville Visual Art. Guests will have the chance to paint a bow tie or Bourbon Bottle on a piece of reclaimed bourbon barrel. The evening will also feature Woodford Reserve craft cocktails, bourbon inspired dishes in the dining rooms, and bow tie stations to help you master the perfect bow tie. Stakes Races include the President of the United Arab Emirates Cup (GI) and Dogwood (Listed) presented by GE Appliances. So break out your bow tie and come out and drink a cocktail, listen to live music, and watch racing under the lights.
